Germantown resident arrested on puppy theft charge

, 60, of Germantown, was arrested on Nov. 7 and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor, and trespassing in connection with the theft of a puppy from a yard on Kelly Road in Red Hook, according to a state police report. He was released on tickets to appear in court at a later date, and the dog was returned to the owner.
