Red Hook loses to Saugerties, 69-54, in MHAL meet

Red Hook varsity boys basketball collected another loss against visiting Saugerties on Jan. 25. Red dropped to 5-7 on the year overall, and 3-5 in Mid-Hudson Athletic League competition, after the 68-54 defeat.

Saugerties took it to Red Hook in the third quarter, outscoring the Raiders 24-6 in the period. The Sawyers (10-1 overall, 6-1 in Mid-Hudson Athletic League) were led in scoring by Paton Gibbs with 20 points, and the Raiders were led by guard Mike Rogers who scored 24, including five three-point baskets.
