Thanksgiving DWI crackdown leads to local arrests

From Nov. 28 thru Dec. 1, the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and the Town of Hyde Park Police Department were part of a multi-agency “saturation patrol” to discourage people from driving impaired, promote awareness, and keep the roadways safe during a peak travel period.

The following six arrests were part of the crackdown:

, 24, of Rhinebeck, charged with DWI & BAC .08% or more, both misdemeanors in the Town of Hyde Park.

, 31, of Poughkeepsie, charged with DWI & BAC .08% or more, both misdemeanors, in the Town of Hyde Park.

, 26, of Rhinebeck, charged with DWI & BAC .08% or more, both misdemeanors, in the Village of Rhinebeck.

, 25, of Red Hook, charged with DWI & Aggravated DWI, both misdemeanors, in the Town of Rhinebeck.

, 28, of Pleasant Valley, charged in Poughkeepsie with DWI & BAC .08% or more, both felonies since Sangurima had a prior DWI conviction within the past 10 years.

, 24, of Pleasant Valley was charged with Criminal Impersonation & Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd both misdemeanors in the Town of Poughkeepsie and also arrested on an outstanding Dutchess County Probation warrant and released to the custody of Probation.
