STILL GOING STRONG: Community leader John Golden, owner of Golden & Golden, is joined by Jack and Sue Pretak during a surprise party to mark his 90th birthday, held Jan. 10 at Coppola’s Restaurant. One hundred family members and friends turned out for the party, which was planned by his daughter, Elizabeth Hilton, and her husband, Gary. Golden is a graduate of FDR High School and Syracuse University, still an avid golfer, actively involved with community organizations and is a past Grand Marshall of the Hyde Park 4th of July parade with his wife, Gloria.
