Red Hook man charged with 3 felonies in home burglary

, 26, of Red Hook, was arrested by state police Jan. 10 at 4:32am following a report of a home security activation and damage to the home, a state police report said.

Responding troopers on the scene saw a man walking away from the home, who then ignored a command to stop, ran to a car and left the area, the report said. Police used the car registration and went to the home address, where the suspect was located hiding on his porch, the report added.

was charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and driving while intoxicated, all felonies. He was arraigned in Town of Red Hook Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail.
