Didi Barrett’s ‘Diner Stop’ to start in Hyde Park and finish in Milan

State Assemblymember Didi Barrett (D-Hudson) will be kicking off her 2014 “Diner Stop Tour” in Hyde Park this Friday.

Barrett’s third annual mobile district office tour stops from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Eveready Diner on Route 9.

“From day one, my priority has been open communication with the hard-working people of my district to make sure their concerns are heard and that they have a voice in Albany,” Barrett said in a news release. “Not everyone can get to our Albany or district offices and with our Diner Stop Tour, I go directly to my constituents while at the same time showcasing a great local business.”

“I am a huge diner fan and we are so fortunate in the Hudson Valley to have many wonderful iconic diners. Our Diner Stop Tour provides the perfect setting to chat over a mug of coffee and hear first-hand what really matters to our families, seniors and communities,” she added.

Following the Hyde Park stop, the “Diner Tour” will also stop at Another Fork in the Road, on Route 199 in Milan on April 25.
