Larceny arrest

, 40, of Hyde Park, was arrested May 13 in Hyde Park and charged with felony grand larceny, along with three misdemeanors — criminal possession of a forged instrument, resisting arrest, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle — according to a Hyde Park Police report. The charges involved reportedly forging and cashing $3,000 worth of checks, and police say allegedly turned into Haviland Middle School and fled from his vehicle on foot when officers tried to stop him. Further details were not available. He was arraigned and remanded to Dutchess County Jail on $2,750 bail.
