One hundred eighty-two new positive tests for coronavirus were reported on Friday, Dec. 11 in Dutchess County for a positivity rate of 5.4%, according to the NYS Department of Health.

On Thursday, the most recent data posted by Dutchess County, the number of active cases being monitored by the county was 1,264, an increase of 67 from the previous day and COVID-19 hospitalizations were at 100, an increase of 10.

There were two new deaths attributed to the disease reported by the county.

Over the previous seven days, an average of 2,406 live virus tests were given to county residents each day. Compared to three weeks earlier, active cases were up 109%, hospitalizations were up 156% and there had been 25 new deaths caused by or related to COVID-19.
