Bard College presents a series of student performing arts events in December. Students from The Bard College Conservatory of Music, the Bard College Music Program, the Bard College Theater Program, and the Bard College Dance Program will present programs that are open to the public. Performances take place in Olin Hall and at theaters in the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts.
Tuesday, December 6
Graduate Vocal Arts Program Concert
A concert of German songs and arias, performed by singers of the Graduate Vocal Arts Program and the Collaborative Piano Fellows. The concert is free and open to the public and no reservations are necessary. Presented by The Bard College Conservatory of Music. The concert takes place in Olin Hall at 4 p.m.
Wednesday, December 7
Bard College Symphonic Chorus and the Bard College Chamber Singers
The program includes Franz Joseph Haydn’s Mass in B flat, “Harmoniemesse,” with conductor James Bagwell. Presented by the Bard College Music Program. Tickets: $5 adults. Free to the Bard community with ID. The performance takes place at 8 p.m. in the Sosnoff Theater at The Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College.

The Bard College Theater Program Presents: Senior Theater Projects in Directing
The Senior Theater Projects in Directing continue with Gum by Karen Hartman, directed by Morgan Green, and Promenade by Maria Irene Fornes, directed by Milo Cramer. The performances take place in the Stewart and Lynda Resnick Theater Studio at The Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College. Tickets are free, although a reservation is required.

The Bard College Dance Program Presents: Senior Dance Concert
Join us for an evening of Senior Projects in dance. Seven students work in collaboration with professional lighting, scenic, and costume designers in this, the culminating concert of choreographers’ four years at Bard College. There will be a post-show discussion after the Saturday evening program. The performances take place in Theater Two at the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College. Tickets are free, although a reservation is required.
