The Town of Red Hook Water District No. 1 has scheduled hydrant flushing for Tuesday, May 15 and Wednesday, May 16. The flushing will be done between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
Some temporary discoloration and turbidity may be observed in parts of the district during the day. Residents are advised to run the water until it is clear. Residents should also use caution when doing laundry by NOT washing white clothing until at least 24 hours after hydrant flushing has been completed.
