Dog park volunteers sought

The towns of Rhinebeck and Red Hook are considering the development of a dog park for use by residents in both towns.

The park, to be located on the border of both towns, will consist of fenced-in areas where dogs can safely interact with other dogs, under their owners’ supervision.

Dog parks have been successfully established in many other municipalities. And a planning committee is being formed to research the construction needed for this one and prepare an analysis for the town boards of Red Hook and Rhinebeck.

Interested residents wanting to help can email Paul Piastro at ppiastro@hvc.rr.com or call Bruce Washburn at 845-876-2244.
