Farmer Michael Robertson returned to the planning board on July 16 to discuss his application for a small farm market. Robertson owns the 65-acre former Simonetti farm on Route 9 just north of the Village of Red Hook. Originally presented as a farm market 360 feet square, the updated plans call for up to 990 square feet of market space in the existing barn, which is still within the limits allowed under Farm Market 2. After reviewing the plans, the board approved the farm market unanimously.
Assembly budget would undo deep cuts to local schools, other services
The Assembly has passed its one-house budget, reversing deep cuts to education, healthcare and transportation.
