Jewish Center seeking setback for new temple in Village of Rhinebeck

The Rhinebeck Jewish Center has proposed the construction of a temple at 102 Montgomery St. and is seeking a setback variance from the ZBA to allow construction within 15 feet of the back of the lot rather than the usual 20 feet. After a brief discussion at the July 17 meeting, the planning board voted to send a unanimous positive recommendation to the village ZBA.
