Sewer Decision Looms Large in Red Hook’s Future

Town Hall Voting
Election inspectors at Town Hall ready to serve voters
Voting began at 6am this morning for a small subset of Red Hook residents to decide whether to build a central sewer in the Village – one of only two in the county lacking central sewer. If approved, it will allow a greater variety of businesses to open and operate in the village but will also cost all affected residents a minimum of an additional $395 a year on the tax levy.
