County Fair employee arrested for possessing forged money

The New York State Police at Rhinebeck arrested a Dutchess County Fair parking attendant on charges of possessing forged money.

, 34, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested Aug. 24 and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument in the first degree, a class “C” felony.

An Investigation by the State Police revealed that on Aug. 21, allegedly gave five forged $20 bills to Great American Midway vendors while employed as a Fair parking attendant.

was arraigned in Town of Rhinebeck Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail, in lieu of a $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond bail.
