A one-car property-damage automobile accident on Route 9G in Rhinebeck on Aug. 18 resulted in the arrest of the driver after she reportedly failed a sobriety test.
State troopers from the Rhinebeck barracks interviewed the driver of the vehicle, identified as a 65-year-old Red Hook woman, who they said appeared to be incoherent. The driver failed the standardized field sobriety tests and was placed into custody where a blood sample was drawn, according to the police.
The woman was charged with misdemeanor Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. She was issued tickets returnable in the town of Rhinebeck Justice Court.
