Bob’s Security changes name to Janelli Security

Bob Janelli is changing the name of his long-time security business, based in Red Hook, from Bob’s Security to Janelli Security.

Bob’s Security is still operating, but will now concentrate on areas south of Dutchess, Ulster and Putnam counties, Janelli said in a news release announcing the name change.

Janelli Security, on Route 199 half a mile east of the main intersection, will continue to provide alarm systems to residential and commercial customers in Dutchess, Ulster and counties north.

The services and the people are still the same, Janelli added, and he personally will still provide the same custom service that he has provided in the past. The re-distribution of the company will allow him to concentrate his efforts on new technology and offer more than just security.

“As many of you know, alarm systems do not just keep burglars away anymore. Alarms and home automation can now monitor the temperature of your home and prevent frozen pipes, can detect flooding basements, smoke, fire and carbon dioxide. When adding new devices to the system, you can control the lights, locks and the temperature of your home via an Internet connection or smart phone,” Janelli said.

“Over the past 10 years, security cameras have become very popular. Technology has helped reduce the cost of this equipment and the Internet has made accessibility easy. The cameras installed by Janelli Security range in both price and functionality. Some of the cameras installed can provide pan-tilt-zoom functionality, which allows you to control what the camera views from your remote location. Imagine being able to keep an eye on your business when on vacation, or check to see if your kids just got off the bus and are home safely,” Janelli added.

Janelli provides free security reviews and estimates for a home security system. He can also provide you with useful tips to keep your home and business safe. Janelli Security can be reached at 855-JANELLI.
