“Each year, WKZE 98.1 and its listeners come out in a big way to support the Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse’s efforts to give our children a happy holiday season,” said Kathleen Murphy, executive director, in a Center news release. “This year, everyone surpassed our expectations. Our boardroom is full of toys that we cannot wait to distribute, and WKZE 98.1 raised nearly $900 for us to purchase new coats for the children as well. We are so grateful to have the community rally around us at this time of the year.”
Attendees at the toy drive and fundraiser got to kick up their heels to Professor Louie and the Crowmatix.
Founded in 1973, The Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse’s mission is to end child abuse in Dutchess County.
