The Rhinebeck girls’ basketball team won its second home game of the season Jan. 17, with a convincing 46-14 win against Dover. The Hawks were led by Samantha Cassata’s 17 points . She was supported by Meredith Mimoso’s 11 points, Sydney Spencer’s 8 points, and Rachel Tigges’ 6 points.
“The team played an overall strong game, and the team’s defense was a real strength,” Rhinebeck Coach Mike Burg said.
Assembly budget would undo deep cuts to local schools, other services
The Assembly has passed its one-house budget, reversing deep cuts to education, healthcare and transportation.
