Open call for art RHCAN exhibit

An art exhibit exploring the use of book imagery, actual artists’ books, and art using book materials or featuring the printed word will be presented April 12-14 as part of the Read Local! Literary Festival in Red Hook.

RHCAN is now holding an open call for all media, 2-D or 3D. The gallery has limited space for displaying 3-D work, so it’s helpful if you can provide a pedestal. There is also a limited amount of table space. All wall work must be properly framed and wired for hanging. No giclees or reproductions.

Each artist may submit up to three pieces. RHCAN will exhibit something from each artist, but the show will be curated to meet the gallery’s space limitations, so it is possible that not all work will be accepted. The show is not juried and open to all. For more information, visit www.rhcan.com.
