Camp Ramapo seeks building additions

Camp Ramapo for Children held a sketch plan conference with Rhinebeck planners to review the applications for a wetlands permit and site plan approval on their Salisbury Turnpike property. The applications concerns two proposed buildings on the site; one, a 4,375 square foot multi-use building for camp recreation and the other a 6,240 square foot residence for non-seasonal staff. The multi-use building will be constructed on the footprint of the current recreation building. The planning board will hire an engineer to delineate the wetlands on site and, pending the engineer’s site review, the applications will return for planning board review in May.
