The Starr Library is introducing a new outreach program called “Starr At Home” for residents in Rhinebeck who are housebound.
The library plans to deliver books to community members who, for whatever reason, cannot leave home. Participants will be able to request specific titles and/or a particular genre of books that they enjoy, and can also request recommendations on what to read.
Volunteers will deliver and pick up books once or twice monthly.
If you are interested in participating, or you know someone who would benefit, call Nan Jackson at the library, 876-4030, or email starrathome@starrlibrary.org, or visit the front desk for an application.
