Dale Mitchell and Marylin Miklau requested, and were granted, an area variance to build a 6-foot high privacy fence at 1429 Jackson Corners Road near the road. The home, built in the 1700’s before the current road existed, is 30 feet from the road and the owners only requested the variance so potential buyers would have the option of building a fence. Lilacs will be planted in front of the fence and pine trees are currently standing behind where the fence would go.
Assembly budget would undo deep cuts to local schools, other services
The Assembly has passed its one-house budget, reversing deep cuts to education, healthcare and transportation.
