A 16-year-old youth, from Lansing, N.Y., was arrested twice within a week in Red Hook on assault charges.
The first arrest was June 18 and the teen was charged with one count of assault in the third degree with intent to cause physical injury, a misdemeanor, according to State Police. He was issued a ticket to appear in court.
State police records show that the teen was arrested a second time June 24 and charged with assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor, and criminal mischief with intent to damage property, also a misdemeanor. He was arraigned in Town of Red Hook court and remanded to Dutchess County jail with a $1,000 cash bail.
