3 teens charged in ice cream stand burglary

Three teens from Claverack were arrested and charged in connection with a burglary July 1 at Keeler’s Eskimo Bar on Route 9H in Claverack, according to State Police.

, 16, was arrested July 1 in Claverack, and , 17, and , 17, were arrested the following day in Livingston. All were charged with burglary in the third degree, a felony.

The police allege that the three forced entry into the ice cream stand and stole several items of property, including money.

All three were arraigned in Livingston Court. was released on his own recognizance, and were sent to Columbia County Jail with a cash bail of $2,500 and $5,000 respectively and all were issued tickets to reappear in court. and face additional felony charges related to the intentional damage of multiple vehicles in the Claverack area, according to state police.
