Elizaville man charged with criminal impersonation

, 31, of Elizaville, was arrested July 6 at 9:35 pm in the Village of Red Hook and charged with criminal impersonation and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, both misdemeanors, and following too closely, a violation, according to Red Hook Police. After police stopped him, allegedly gave officers a false name and date of birth. Police then discovered he had seven open suspensions on his driving record. He was arraigned in Town of Red Hook court and released with a future court date.
