Local podiatrist seeking shoes for Honduras clinic

Dr. David D. Kim, a podiatrist with Hudson Valley Foot Associates, is conducting a shoe-drive for his annual missionary trip to Honduras.

Kim will be departing Aug. 5 for the San Pedro area of Honduras, where he will assist area residents at a local clinic.

Donations of new or lightly used footwear for children and adults are needed, including shoes, sneakers, slippers, sandals and non-insulated boots. In addition, he is also seeking dental hygiene items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes and floss.

The donations can be dropped off until Thurs., Aug. 1, at Hudson Valley Foot Associates, which has offices in Kingston, Red Hook, New Windsor, Wappingers Falls, Hudson, and Margaretville.
