A Gallatin youth, aged 16, was arrested in the Village of Red Hook Aug. 7 and charged with fleeing an officer, a misdemeanor, as well as 14 infractions related to driving an unregistered all-terrain vehicle recklessly, without a license or insurance, according to a State Police report. The arrest was made in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 5 when a trooper observed an ATV speeding near Deer Haven Road and County Route 19 in Livingston, the report said. The youth was released on his own recognizance and issued traffic tickets and a future court date in Livingston Court. NOTE: The Observer does not publish the names of minors arrested for misdemeanors.
With spring around the corner, village representatives are meeting to discuss outdoor dining options once again.
