4 Mass. residents arrested in Rhinebeck on drug charges

Four residents of Massachusetts were arrested in their car on drug charges in the Town of Rhinebeck Aug. 18 at 9:45 pm. According to a State Police report, the driver of the car, 23, of Chicopee, was charged with driving while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor; criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor; and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. According to the report, 20, of Chicopee, charged with unlawful possession of approximately five grams of marijuana and a small quantity of hashish, a violation; 19, of Chicopee, charged with unlawful possession of seven grams of marijuana, a violation; and 19, of Springfield, charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance (ecstasy), a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of approximately two grams of marijuana, a violation.

All four were processed and issued appearance tickets for court.
