Hudson man arrested after Red Hook bar incident

22, of Hudson, was arrested Sept. 5 on numerous charges arising out of an Aug. 29 incident at a Red Hook bar.

was arrested by Red Hook Police with the assistance of the State Police after a traffic stop, according to a Red Hook police report. He was charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, reckless driving, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration, all misdemeanors, as well as speeding, unsafe passing, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and leaving the scene of an auto accident, all infractions, according to the report. The arrest, done with the assistance of the state police, was a result of an incident in which the suspect allegedly threatened a patron at Red Hook bar with a handgun and then was observed speeding in a car, the report said. He reportedly fled when Red Hook Police attempted a traffic stop, the police report said, and then crashed and left the scene on foot.

was arraigned in Town of Red Hook Court and sent to Dutchess County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 secured bond.
