Milan judge honored at magistrates’ conference

Milan Town Justice Frank Christensen was honored by the New York State Magistrates Association for 20 years of service on the bench.

State Magistrates Past-President Thomas Dias presented Christensen with his 20-year service pin at the state organization’s recent conference in Lake Placid.

Also attending was Justice Jonah Triebwasser, of the town and village of Red Hook.

While at the conference, the judges took refresher courses in civil and criminal law, as well as court procedure, and met with Gail Prudenti, Chief Administrative judge of the State of New York, to discuss court concerns.
