33, of Middletown, was charged Sept. 27 with burglary in the second degree, criminal mischief in the second degree and grand larceny in the fourth degree, all felonies, and possession of burglary tools, a misdemeanor, after an investigation into a burglary in Hyde Park turned up DNA evidence that matched a sample of from a previous conviction, according to a Hyde Park Police report. The report said that police were notified of the burglary Feb. 13, 2012, and a DNA specimen was taken from a screwdriver used in the burglary. who is serving time in Downstate Correctional Facility for an unrelated crime, was brought to Hyde Park to be arraigned. He was issued tickets to appear in court again.
