A motorcyclist was reported to be seriously injured in a car-motorcycle accident just before 10am this morning at Route 9 and Rokeby Road in Red Hook.
Route 9 between Old Farm Road and Hannaford Drive was closed for the accident investigation but is expected to re-open some time in the afternoon, according to the Dutchess County Sheriff’s office.
The motorcyclist was transported to Northern Dutchess Hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to the sheriff’s office. No further information was available at this time.
Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, State Police, Village of Red Hook Police, Red Hook Fire Department and Northern Dutchess Paramedics were on the scene.
