Dutchess County govt leaves tens of millions uncollected

Dutchess County Departments must do a better job of collected budgeted revenues, County Comptroller James Coughlan said. In a memo to county legislative leadership, Coughlan noted department heads didn’t collect $5.2 million in budgeted revenues in 2010 and between 2006 and 2009, more than $56 million of budgeted revenues went uncaptured.
