WAITING FOR DOG-GO!: Local dogs Tango and Moya check out the separation fence at the new Rhinebeck-Red Hook dog park behind the ball fields on Stone Church Road. The park, with areas for big dogs and small, will have its grand opening Saturday, Nov. 2 at 11am. Paul Piastro of Red Hook and Bruce Washburn of Rhinebeck spearheaded a group of volunteers who built the park with donated funds. Canines and their humans are all invited to the opening ceremonies.
