19, of Hyde Park was arrested Nov. 4 on felony charges involving a reported dispute with his mother. According to a Hyde Park police report, officers dispatched to a Fuller Lane residence after a hang-up call reportedly heard a dispute going in inside. After interviewing all parties, the report said, the officers determined that the mother had attempted to call for help during the dispute but Hartman pulled the phone from her hands and threatened harm. He was found to be in violation of a court-issued Order of Protection.
He was charged with first-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense, both felonies, along with fourth-degree criminal mischief and third-degree menacing, both misdemeanors. He arraigned in front of Town Justice David Steinberg and remanded to Dutchess County Jail on $50,000 cash or bail bond.
