Wildlife educator Bill Robinson and his “World of Animals” show returns to the Red Hook Firehouse on Fri., Jan. 17 at 6:30pm with a demonstration for all ages.
Sponsored by the Red Hook Library, the show features birds of prey and reptiles in an entertaining and educational up-close look. Robinson is a biologist who founded the NYS Falconry Association and has served on the NYS Falconry Advisory Board. The program packed them in last year, so go early for seating.
Robinson and his brother, Brian, will then appear the following afternoon at the Staatsburg Library for another “World of Animals” wildlife show at 2pm. The brothers have presented their lectures to more than 10,000 students annually at schools, museums, and education centers. Their animals are captive-bred at their facility in the Catskills and are all healthy, uninjured, and well-adjusted to audiences.
This program is free and open to the public. Staatsburg Library is located at 72 Old Post Road in the hamlet of Staatsburg. For more information, call 845-889-4683, visit staatsburglibrary.org or e-mail staatslibrary@gmail.com.
