Mobil station in Milan prepares for opening

Those who've waited years for a gas stop near the Taconic Parkway can stop singing "tanks for the memory" now. The new Chestnut Mart Mobil station in Milan is well underway. GAS, AND DONUTS, GETTING CLOSER: Milan’s new Mobil station on Route 199 is on track to open sometime this winter, probably by March, according to the construction manager for the project, Chris Gent of CPD. Ghent also said Dunkin’ Donuts has signed on to lease part of the retail space in the convenience store, including a drive-thru, and his team is currently waiting on the company to finalize their plans for the interior layout before finishing construction. The new station, called Chestnut Mart, will replace one that burned down more than eight years ago.
