Holiday DWI crackdown leads to local arrests

The following local people were arrested during a “saturation patrol” to discourage driving while impaired, which was run from Dec. 13 through Jan. 1 by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office and the Town of Hyde Park and Village of Red Hook police departments, according to a sheriff’s report:

IN RED HOOK: , 51, of Tivoli, charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony due to a prior conviction within 10 years, as well as leaving the scene of a property damage accident, a traffic infraction, after he was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run …, 57, of Elizaville, charged with driving while intoxicated and having a BAC of .08% or more, both misdemeanors…, 51, of Tivoli, charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor. UPDATE: This December 2013 misdemeanor driving-while-intoxicated charge against , 51, of Tivoli, was dismissed on June 24, 2014, after Village of Red Hook Justice Jonah Triebwasser found no probable cause for the traffic stop… , 42, of Red Hook, charged with driving while intoxicated and having a BAC of .08% or more, both misdemeanors…, 19, of Rhinebeck, charged with driving while impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor…, 47, of Red Hook, charged with driving while intoxicated and having a BAC of .08% or more, both misdemeanors.

IN HYDE PARK: , 23, of Poughkeepsie, charged with unlawfully dealing with a child and prohibited sale of alcohol, both misdemeanors, as well as a violation of the Dutchess County social host law…, 47, of Hyde Park, charged with driving while intoxicated and having a BAC of .08% or more, both misdemeanors…, 23, of Hyde Park, charged with driving while intoxicated and having a BAC of .08% or more, both misdemeanors …, 35, of Poughkeepsie, charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor…, 33, of Poughkeepsie, charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, both misdemeanors, as well as unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation…, 18, of Hyde Park, charged with driving while intoxicated and BAC .08% having a BAC of .08% or more, both misdemeanors, in the Town of Poughkeepsie.
