A water main break in Tivoli early this morning that left some homes high and dry has been fixed, but village residents are being urged to conserve their use.
Mayor Bryan Cranna said this morning that the break occurred just west of Village Hall, and that initially “about half of the village was without water.”
“Water service has been restored,” he said in a 1pm advisory. “However, residents are asked to be conservative with water usage for the next several days.”
Cranna had declared a one-day state of emergency Jan. 6 when another water main break near Feroe Avenue impacted a number of streets in the vicinity. The break was fixed by the end of the day.
