, 33, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested Jan. 23 and charged with third-degree attempted burglary and third-degree criminal mischief, both felonies, following a year-long investigation into a break-in in Hyde Park, according to a Hyde Park Police report. The investigation began Jan. 8, 2013, when Hyde Park Police responded to an alarm activation and found a back window broken out at a local business on Albany Post Rd., the report said. DNA testing from evidence at the scene led to the suspect, the report added. He was arraigned in front of Judge Kennedy and released under the supervision of probation with tickets to appear in court.
