Super Bowl DWI crackdown nets local arrests

During the Super Bowl weekend Jan. 31 through Feb. 3, the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office, Town of Hyde Park Police Department and Village of Red Hook Police Department joined in a multi-agency “saturation patrol” to discourage people from driving impaired.

Among those arrested, processed and release for court appearances: , 30, of Rhinebeck, charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with blood alcohol of .08 percent or higher, both felonies since he had two previous DWI convictions within the past 10 years. He was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation…, 24, of Red Hook, charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, and two counts of drunk driving, all misdemeanors, as well having an inadequate exhaust and failing to keep right, both infractions…, 33, of Rhinebeck, arrested in Hyde Park and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor…, 35, of Hyde Park, charged with driving while intoxicated and driving while intoxicated with blood alcohol of .08 percent or higher, both misdemeanors… , 24, of Hyde Park, charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor…, 30, of East Greenbush, arrested Feb. in the Town of Red Hook, charged with two counts of drunk driving, both misdemeanors, as well as failure to keep right, an infraction.
