Red Hook schedules workshops for parents

Families with kids in Red Hook schools are invited to a morning of informative meetings on a variety of key topics focused on the kids.

Called “Parent University for K-12,” the free event will be held from 8am to 12:30pm and will feature a host of workshops that range from cyberbullying and drugs to motivation, mindfulness and even college issues. It is open to all families in the school district whether they have school-age children or not.

Leading the workshops will be a variety of school officials as well as law enforcement officers, librarians, technology experts and psychologists.

The sessions will be held at Red Hook High School and are for adults only. Pre-registration is required. For a complete listing of the conference schedule and a registration form, visit redhookcentralschools.org.
