Hyde Park man charged with burglary

, 29, of Hyde Park was arrested Feb. 21 and charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, and petty larceny and two counts of fourth-degree criminal mischief, all misdemeanors, after an investigation into several incidents at his apartment complex. According to a Hyde Park Police report, on Feb. 19 at approximately 8:33pm, police received a call about a burglary on Albany Post Rd. The report said the victim told police she arrived home to find her front door kicked in and items, including a laptop computer, missing. She reported that her tires had been slashed in December and eventually the investigation led , who is a neighbor in the apartment complex. He was charged with both crimes, arraigned in Hyde Park Justice Court and remanded to Dutchess County Jail on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bail bond.
