, 39, of Hyde Park, was arrested March 11 in Hyde Park after a lengthy investigation spurred by complaints from local pharmacies about a woman calling and acting as an employee of a doctor’s office in order to get prescriptions. The pharmacies became suspicious and alerted the Hyde Park Police Department and the detective division immediately opened an investigation, the report said. During the investigation, it was determined that the suspect had allegedly been involved in similar incidents in the Town of Poughkeepsie, Town of Fishkill, and New Paltz.
was charged with three counts each of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and first-degree criminal impersonation, both felonies. She was arraigned in front of Judge Kennedy and remanded to Dutchess County Jail on $12,500 cash or $25,000 bail bond. The investigation is ongoing and more charges may follow, the police report said.
