, 16, of Rhinebeck, was arrested March 20 in the Town of Hyde Park and charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, according to a State Police report. The arrest followed an investigation by the county’s Child Advocacy Center into a reported sexual offense involving an 8-year-old child, the report said. was arraigned in Town of Hyde Park Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. He will be tried as an adult, a State Police representative said.
