The board will hold a public hearing at its May 28 meeting at 7pm on the requested height variance for the proposed Verizon mono-pine stealth cell tower on Academy Hill Road. Verizon has asked for a 150 ft. tower where 100 ft. is the maximum allowed in the code. If the ZBA grants the variance, Verizon will still need to obtain a special use permit and site plan approval from the planning board.
