Country Living Fair coming this weekend

Country Living magazine’s annual shopping, cooking and craft fair takes over the Dutchess County Fairgrounds from Friday through Sunday, June 6-8.

The annual Country Living Fair, established in 2006, offers three days of cooking, crafting, DIY demonstrations, editor and design expert appearances, as well as locally sourced, artisanal food, and more than 200 vendors offering antiques, gifts, home décor, jewelry and more.

“We’re thrilled to bring the Country Living Fair to readers across the country,” said editor in chief Rachel Hardage Barrett. “The fairs bring the content of the magazine to life while celebrating the unique energy and flavor of each destination.”

Special guests scheduled for the fair include Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell, “The Fabulous Beekman Boys”; Cari Cucksey, star of HGTV’s Cash & Cari; Kelsey Nixon, star of Cooking Channel’s Kelsey’s Essentials; Michael Devine, entertaining and design expert; and designers Anne Maxwell Foster and Suysel dePedro Cunningham of Tilton Fenwick.

Ford Motor Company, Go RVing, Hudson Valley Tourism, Jelly Belly Candy Company, and Texas Tourism are participating sponsors of this year’s event.

Admission is $13 in advance, $16 at the door; three-day weekend passes are available for $15 in advance and $20 at the door; an Early Bird Three-Day Weekend Pass is available for $40 (in advance only) and admission is free for children 16 and under.
