Red Hook man charged with Rhinebeck unemployment scam

, 26, of Red Hook, was arrested July 14 in the Town of Rhinebeck and charged with falsifying business records, a felony, according to a State Police report. The arrest followed an investigation by the State Police and the state Department of Labor, which reportedly revealed that received in excess of $4,000 in unemployment benefits while employed. He was released on tickets to appear in court.
