A PAGE-TURNING SIGHT: The Hyde Park Rotary Club and the Hyde Park Free Library collaborated on the installation of an outpost of “The Little Free Library” located in front of the China Wok restaurant in the Stop & Shop plaza. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held June 24. The Little Free Library, an international organization established to promote literacy, is a free book exchange center for all residents. The little library holds 50-75 books with a mix of children’s and adult titles. “It’s a way of exchanging favorite books,” Hyde Park Library director Greg Callahan said. The library was built by D.J. Amodeo, a Hyde Park resident and Rotarian.
